Description

The GCAN-204 is a CAN to Modbus RTU Slave Converter with one Serial interface and one CAN interface. It allows user to connect some Modbus Master (for example: PLC, HMI, etc) with an existing CAN network.

It has integrated isolation protection module and easier to install with DIN-rail.

Functions

The GCAN-204 converter is a standard Modbus Slave station. It will load the data received on CAN bus into the register (address) and wait for the instructions sent by Modbus Master station to read.

When the converter receives the reading instruction, it will send the data from specified register (address) to the Modbus Master station.

When the converter receives the sending instruction, it will progress the Modbus data and send to CAN bus.
